Meet Michael Dickinson, Century 21 United Realty Inc., Buckhorn

Welcome to my web site and Century 21 United.

I was born and lived in Thornhill, Ontario until I finished my education but I was raised at the cottage on Kasshabog. They say it takes a community to raise a child but for me it was a lake. Even though we only spent weekends and holiday’s there, most of my childhood memories are from the cottage. Once I finished school and I was well into my 20’s I decided that I had to live in the Kawarthas.

I opened my own business as a trade show co-coordinator. This allowed me to make many contacts in the area and was the first step to staying where I felt that I belonged. Over the years I tried owning different businesses from woodworking to restaurant but I finally found a winner with my property maintenance and landscape company. I started Canadian Cottage Ltd. in 1999 and we were incorporated by 2003.

By 2005 I was ready for a new challenge. The real estate industry always interested me so I began taking the courses in my free time. Currently (2010) I am a Broker with Century 21 United and President of Canadian Cottage Ltd. The two ventures compliment each other very well and continue to grow. I feel confident that I have made many solid connections over the years and I look forward to helping you get the most out of the Kawartha Lakes.
